Patina Reverse Jade – MTO – Highland

The Highland is a wholecut chelsea boot with a heart medallion adorning the toebox, and “coke bottle” gore adding another elegant detail to its subtle style. But forget subtle! Our Highland GMTOs are another step in our partnership with patina artist Hancore, who has created four new “reverse patina” chelsea boot patinas to choose from. Each style features burnishing that is darkest towards the boot’s shaft, for an aggressive “reverse patina” effect where the patina’s color is most obvious at the toes.

The Jade patina is an entirely new colorway created by Hancore, just for the Highland chelsea boot. Its pale green toe box darkens into a richer green, before finally transitioning to a near-black, as you look further back along the boot. Given its uncommon color and bold design, this Highland is bound to be a statement piece: Pair it with blue or grey tailoring, or your favorite pair of jeans, and let the boots do most of the talking!
